I'm Erica. I'm a bit of an extrovert, with some parts of me reserved. I also like to say that I'm a romantic living in the modern day. I like to say that I'm kind, sensitive, honest, caring, and understanding, and I admit that I have a tendancy to overanalyze things and over worry. I try to be mature, but I know that I'm still young and still maturing. I don't want to rush myself in growing up. I try to embrace every bit of my childhood that I still can.
I love meeting people but can be a bit shy at first in the fear of not being liked, which is probably how a lot of people are. I'm a lover of love and the beauty of nature. I enjoy spending my free time in botanic gardens (like Meadowlark) and taking walks in the park, and writing. (Or wasting my time with online blogs and chats, or somewhat nerdy things like the Sims2 or watching videos on youtube). I have a love for history, but not for the big facts that are taught in school. I enjoy learning about what it was like living in previous time periods. I especially like the Romantic era and the Victorian and Edwardian eras.
I've also been in a constant search to find my soul mate, ever since I was 3. The chances of me finding him so soon are not very likely, but who knows, maybe he's right here. Sometimes I wish I was born in 1939, instead of 1989, because being a high school girl in the 50's just appeals to me. I also really like animals, and I'm a tree hugger. I love singing and dancing, but I'm a bit self concious about my voice, so you won't find me singing in front of people all the time. I was a dancer from when I was 3, to when I was 13. I take voice lessons, and I took a musical theatre class. I am interested in persuing a career in flim acting, maybe in musical theatre. My back-up careers are anything that has to do with writing, and history. Maybe I'll change my mind halfway through college. In the end I don't intend on holding one solid career for the rest of my life...the thought of that scares me. I just want a piece of everything that I like to do. Just to feel fulfilled.
I believe in the "everybody just needs a hug" theory. I also believe in the Romantic Rousseau's philosophy that "man is good by nature but corrupted by society."
So that's basically me in a nutshell.
